Welcome to the Yoyorast Island Project website! We're a mini-community based around Yoyorast Island, a map created primarily for the Halo Custom Edition game. The map is a unique work, with many twists, turns, tunnels, and hours of fun on any gametype Halo's engine has to offer, and soon, many other game engines!

So a few of you may have noticed that I had a program running on the server that would automatically restart the game server if it crashed. Ironically that program started to cause stability issues with the game server so I was ultimately forced to stop using it... However, as I am determined to be as lazy as humanly possible when it comes to server-side access, I redoubled my efforts to find a solution that will keep the server running with no human interference! Due to the unseen public release of Rec0's servers application by Bacon on Modacity, I have recently added the application to the Official Yoyorast Island Server PARIS!

Guys, I'm really proud to announce we just reached the 100000 Yoyorast Island V1 downloads at www.halomaps.org . I really didn't expect such a great success some years ago.. So we're not 1st but 3rd most HaloCE downloaded map behing Hugeass and Coldsnap. I'm so happy! Thanks to everybody! It proves HaloCE is not dead yet.. and believe me, soon something is going to make it born again.. ;) Click here to discuss this news item. |
